A Promised Land

A Promised Land is the first volume of Barack Obama’s presidential memoirs. It follows his journey from a young community organiser to the 2008 election and his first term in the White House — the 2008 financial crisis, healthcare reform, climate talks, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the Arab Spring, and the 2011 Abbottabad operation against Osama bin Laden. It gives an inside view of American politics and foreign policy, useful for CSS History of USA, International Relations, Current Affairs (Pakistan-US relations) and for essay examples.
